Custom Designing and/or Supplied Design rendering: $100.00 per hour ($50.00 minimum)

Custom Cut Stencil with transfer tape applied: $10 per square foot (10 square foot minimum)

MAKE YOUR OWN DESIGNS AND STENCILS

If you want to make your own stencils for Glass Etching Paint, it is easy! You can apply painters tape to your glass (use a squeegee to ensure the tape is applied thoroughly). After the tape is applied, draw your design onto the tape. After you complete your design, you need to get a sharp exacto knife (use a new blade) and cut out the entire design. Once the design is cut, remove the areas of tape that you want to have etched. Now you are read to roll on the Glassprimer™ Glass Etching paint. Once the paint is dry (10-24 hours) remove the tape. WHOOLA! now you and others can admire your etched glass masterpiece!

Another method of hand cutting custom stencils for glass is to apply our Glass Etching Paint stencil to your glass and either hand draw your design onto the stencil or transfer a design onto the stencil through the transfer paper process. To transfer a design to the stencil, it is best to trace your design onto transfer paper with a graphite pencil. Once your design is drawn on the transfer paper,  securely tape your trasnfer paper onto the stencil covered glass (graphite pencil drawn side facing down against stencil). Now thoroughly squeegee on top of the transfer paper against the stenciled glass to transfer the graphite drawn design to the stencil. Remove the transfer paper and now cut out your design with an exacto knife.

If you are looking for a fast easy way to make professional stencils in minutes, a sign cutter can be used. You can make your designs by hand then scan them into your sign cutter program, trace designs, find online designs, purchase design books, purchase design cd’s, and more. Once you make designs, you will always have them on file to re make stencils, modify, change size, etc…

All you need is a sign cutter, a computer, and a roll of Glass Etching paint stencil.
